CommonGround Golf Course
One Hundred years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence, in 1876, Colorado became the nation’s 38th state and earned the nickname “The Centennial State”. In those days, before the 1st golf course was opened in the U.S., it wouldn’t be possible to imagine what Colorado has become today. The scenery alone makes Colorado an ideal golf destination. Luckily for golfers, some folks envisioned what it would be like to strike a golf ball while gazing at the majestic Rocky Mountains. The long days of summer bring heat and humidity to most of the US, while the low humidity and average daytime temps in the 70's & 80’s with evenings in the 60’s make Colorado the ideal summer golf getaway destination. The fun begins with four nights at the Beaver Creek Lodge in the Rockies just down the highway from Vail, two hours west of Denver. We’ll come back down to earth, to 5200 feet, to spend the final four nights at the Four Diamond rated Renaissance Boulder Flatiron Hotel just 20 minutes from downtown Denver and 30 minutes from Denver International Airport(DEN).
Our participants should fly into Denver International Airport(DEN). Your flights to/from Denver are not part of the package and since this will be a SELF DRIVE trip, a rental car will be needed upon arrival at Denver International Airport. You'll need to drive to/from the golf courses and sightseeing. Participants will recieve upgraded suites at both hotels which will provide added comfort after each day of fantastic Colorado golf. We encourage our members to register ASAP as we only have suites reserved at each hotel.

Golf Club at Fossil Trace
Fossil Trace in in the city of Golden Colorado, 20 minutes west of downtown Denver. The course is considered one of Denver’s top golf courses and allows golfers to experience a mountain course feel in an urban setting. The course is routed through rolling terrain near the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and near a plateau with some interesting rock formations. The course also passes through rock features which include fossilized plants and animals from the age of the dinosaurs, and thus the namesake of the course.
Offering 7 sets of tees, Fossil Trace accommodates every level of golfer. This place is fun, but you don't have to take our word for it... Golf Digest Designated Hole #12 as one of the “Most Fun Holes in America” and also gave them a 4 ½ Star Rating.
Red Sky Golf Course features two championship golf courses designed by Tom Fazio and Greg Norman. The courses are separated by a massive ridge, which serves as wildlife migration corridor for deer and elk. Great care was taken to preserve the natural landscape, including transplanting or re-vegetation of more than 25,000 native plants during the construction of the Tom Fazio golf course alone. Approximately 80 acres of sod was applied to each course, reducing the amount of fertilizer necessary for seed grow-in, which protected the nearby Eagle River from silt erosion, which common when seed is used. Both courses have breath-taking views and are registered as Audubon Cooperative Sanctuaries.
Red Sky Golf Club boasts two Clubhouses, the Silver Sage Restaurant, two driving ranges, and the Red Sky Golf Academy... and a convenient location only 25 minutes from Beaver Creek Village. The Vail Valley's most extraordinary golf facility, Red Sky Golf Club, is a private membership club with limited access for guests of Beaver Creek Lodge. We've included rounds on both the Fazio and Norman Courses, sure to be golf experiences that highlight our Rocky Mountain Golf Getaway!
There are countless activities for you to discover and experience in Beaver Creek and Denver. The ideal summer destination with comfortable weather, unparalleled golf in the Rocky Mountains, hiking, rafting, museums, craft breweries, farm-to-table dining, a rich cultural heritage and so much more.
